So about the
nudes - they're staying. When over 400 people take the time to email me saying how much they appreciate the shots, then I know in my heart that they have to continue. Many thanks, everyone; highly appreciate it! Now, onto this shot:
This tunnel used to be one of my favorite places to take photos (
here's an example), but for some reason haven't returned in over two years. Yet, when a model friend of mine wanted a 'different' type of shot, this locale popped into my head. You have
no idea how hard it was to get this shot. This tunnel is located
above a major highway (
here's what it looks like). Yes, she's nude. Yes, the highway was busy. Yes, it was
incredibly cold. As we ran onto the bridge, I knew that with the narrow depth of field, the cold, and small timetable, that I would only have one shot at this. I think considering, we did a decent job. As we ran back to our car, we saw a police car flash its lights. I expected the worst, but instead it had just pulled another car over.
Whew. We ended up having a slice of pie at a nearby diner. Yes, she's wearing a lampshade. Yes, she's holding an egg. And yes, we're freakin' crazy.
